Melva York

Melva C. York passed away at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday March 27, 2016 surrounded by family.
She was one of twelve children born to William R., Sr. and Matilda Keck Heck. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe York.
She was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church and enjoyed going to Sun Valley Community Center.
She worked for Pillsbury and Shively Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son Michael S. Crain (Amy), granddaughter, Elizabeth, step-daughters, Yvonne Bredhold (Donnie), Joeann Kroll, brothers, Alvin Heck (Loretta), Norman Heck, cousins, Jim Heck (Jane) and the best neighbors she could ever ask for, special loving care was given by her daughter-in-law, Amy Crain.
