Melvin Brown

Melvin R. "Bus" Brown, 76, husband of Lena Rose Brown, died Thursday April 11, 2013 at Norton Suburban Hospital. Born in Dry Ridge, Ky. May 28, 1936, son of the late Emerson and Wilma Kinmon Brown. Mr. Brown was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and had been a technician for Singer Sewing Machine Company. Besides his wife of nearly 59 years he is survived by his five children; Alan Wayne Brown (Katrina Sue), Belinda Faye Brown, Kevin Ray Brown, Phillip Scott Brown and Carolyn Brown Phillips. Three sisters, Judy Knopp, Connie Brown Risley , Linda Palendat and two brothers, Gerald L. & Sonny Brown. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
