Meredith Ray Burnette, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on September 3, 2024. Meredith was born to the late Early Ray and Elizabeth Turner Burnette on March 27, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky. He is proceeded in death by his great niece Gabriella “Gabby” Liston, and his two fur babies: Tinkerbell and Baby Girl. During Rays free time he loved riding his Harley Davidson’s, fishing, hunting, traveling to Sturges and Panama City bike week. He loved spending time with his friends in the man cave and most importantly Rays favorite thing to do was to hangout with his family and friends and show his love for them. Left behind to carry on his love and memories is his partner in crime, Nedra Dennis also known as “Nene”, son; Christopher Burnette (Mystic), daughter; Erin Scruggs, sisters; Janette Leanhart (Bill) and Robin Ray. He was survived by his aunt Darlene Turner Wheat. Meredith was blessed with many beautiful grandchildren; Tyler Horn (Morgan), Logan Burnette, Jacob Watson, Emilie &  Elaina Watson, Jeloni Scruggs and Javonte Scruggs. He also had two beautiful great grandchildren, Meredith Horn, Myles Horn. He is survived also by his nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who loved their "Uncle Bucky". The family as that all donations be made to the American Heart Association. Visitation will take place on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 3:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will then take place on Tuesday September 10, 2024, from 10:00am until 11:00am with the celebration of Meredith Ray Burnette’s life to follow at 11:00am at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
