BROWN, MERLE JR., 75, passed into heaven on Saturday, November 26, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Lorena Brown; infant son, Phillip J. Brown; and sister, Judy Thornberry.
A graduate of Shawnee High School attended Speed Scientific School and East Tennessee State University. General Mills employed him for 34 years.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Howey-Brown; sons, Michael and Larry; grand daughters, Lesley and Danielle Brown; seven nieces and nephews; 10 grand nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Merle Brown will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Louisville Memorial Gardens, East, Louisville.
