Michael E. Burckel Share E-mail Visit Guest Book BURCKEL, MICHAEL E., 60, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the Veterans' Hospital.
He was a retired service tech for various companies, and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam era.
Michael is survived by his children, Margaret Smith (Rick), Donita Lancaster (Chris) and Michael D. Burckel (Joanna); two brothers, Jim Burckel (Bobbie) and Bill Burckel (Pat); two sisters, Judy Brown (Denny) and Betsy Conales (Amando), and nine grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.
