GEISER, MICHAEL W., 60, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at the Norton Pavilion Hosparus Unit with his wife and children by his side. He is now healed, after a brave battle with lung cancer.
A native of Louisville, he had been living in Jacksonville, FL, where he was a manager for CSX Railroad. He was a member of Valley View Church, a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics and the Jacksonville (Florida) Flying Field.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gloria Cain Geiser, his little ray of sunshine; a son, Robert M. Geiser, Sr. (Tammy); a daughter, Barbie Gravil (Troy); siblings, Carolyn Coyle, Ronnie Geiser, Charlene Geiser, Pam Klein, and Danny Geiser; grandchildren (who he referred to as his babies), Dustin, Kristin, Amber, Trevor, Kayla, Corbin, and Braden Gravil, and Lynsey, Robert, Jr., and Abigail Geiser; father-in-law, Robert Cain; and many other family and friends.
His funeral will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday.
