McCOMIS, MICHAEL GREGORY "GREG" SR., 54, of Louisville, passed away on June 27, 2014. Michael was born on December 29, 1959, in Louisville to Mary Fletcher. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping, and loved spending time with his sons and grandkids. Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Sharp. He is survived by his mother, Mary Fletcher (Robert); two sons, Christopher McComis (Angela) and Michael G. McComis Jr. (Jessika); three brothers, Mark McComis of LaGrange, KY, Thomas McComis, and Jerry Sharp (Gina); sister, Laura McComis; and four grandchildren, McKayla, Haylie, Kylie McComis, and Cameron A. Geremia. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Funeral ceremony will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
