Pawley, Michael Jerome PAWLEY, MICHAEL JEROME, 67, born June 29, 1939 of Louisville died on Monday, May 21, 2007 at Southwest Hospital. He was the devoted husband of 45 years to the love of his life Barbara and beloved father and grandfather. Mr. Pawley served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. He is a retired Navy Seal. Mr. Pawley is also a retired engineer from the Naval Ordnance Plant. He was an Eagle Scout, a boy scout leader, a little league baseball coach, a member of the American Pool Players Association and an original member of the Louisville Chapter of the Native American Indian Association. Mr. Pawley was also a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church since 1962. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Becker Pawley; daughter, Doris Devers (Bill); son, Timothy Pawley; grandchildren, Brandon and Tonya Devers; brothers, Don, Eddie, Bobby and Larry Pawley. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at his church, 10801 Deering Rd. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. -8 p.m. Thursday at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home, 10907 Dixie Hwy.
