Mike Horn passed away on September 2, 2021 at his residence in Louisville, after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. Mike graduated from Stuart High School where he later returned, to become a head football coach. Like many coaches, he led by example of what hard work, determination, respect and honesty look like. Mike was a great father, husband, son and role model for everyone. He had a huge passion for sports, especially baseball and watching his kids and grandkids play at the ball field. He was an avid Kentucky Wildcats and Chicago Cubs fan. His wish of watching them win a World Series after a 108-year drought, came true in 2016. He is survived by his loving wife, Kim, son, Travis (Ashley), Jacob (Melissa), mother, Inez, father, Jerry, sister, Monica Turner, grandchildren, Hayley, Brady, Dawson, Avery, Camden and Audrey, nephew and niece, Kris and Jordan. We have to let go of having you by our side, but we will never let go of loving you, honoring you, remembering you and missing you.
