She is the former Mildred T. West, a member of Lee's Lane Baptist Church and AARP.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Nichols; and brother, Charles West.
She is survived by her son, James Thomas Nichols; daughter, Sue Ann Tollefson; sisters, Lulu Francis Allen and Betsy Ann Hanson; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy, at Rockford Lane, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Friday
