Milla Singer

SINGER, MILLA GARD "MILLY," 84, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2008, at Baptist Hospital East. She was born in Johnstown, PA, February 15, 1924. Milly was an avid bridge player. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Melvin; three daughters, Sarah Reid (Leo), of Capon Bridge, WV, Suzi Moran (Chuck) and Vicki Cozine (Wayne), both of Louisville; a son, Tim Singer (Mary), of Crestwood, KY; eight grandsons, Brian (Nora), David, and Keith Reid, Richard (Joanna) and George Kershner, Jason Cozine, Michael Cunningham (Crystal) and Timmy Singer; two granddaughters, Amanda Jarboe (Michael) and Danielle Singer; eight great-grandchildren, Richard Kershner Jr., Dawn Reid, Marcy Franks, Emma Cunningham, Jackson Cozine, Sarah Reid, David Reid and Sara Grider; a great-great grandson, Hunter Franks; a great-great granddaughter, Laura Robbins; and a brother, Andrew Gard. Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Arch L. Heady Westport Road with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
