RUPP, MILTON, 83, of Louisville, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011 at Jefferson Place.
Milton proudly served in the U.S. Army and his first career was in construction sales. Later in life he became "The Tin Man," designing and providing punched tins to the Amish for cabinetry. He also excelled in woodworking and enjoyed gardening and fishing. His main passion was his family. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church for over 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lloyd, Bill, Dick, and Roy; sisters, Dorothy Fisher, Sarah McCubbins, Verna Monheimer, and Thelma Brenner; and his grandson, Brian Jennemann.
Survivors include his ex wife, Joan Rupp; sisters, Violet Koehler, Beatrice Boston, and Helen Williams (Matt); and brother, Don (Nancy Ann); his loving children, Deborah Newton (Bill), Gail Griffith (Dave) and David Rupp (Barbara); and seven grandchildren, Britton (Katie), Holly and Lindsey Rupp, Casey and Aaron Griffith, Mary Cooper (Matt) and Cliff Newton.
A memorial celebration of Milton's life will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Broadway Baptist Church, 4000 Brownsboro Road. Visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the atrium at the church. Arrangements: Louisville Memorial Gardens.
