Sims, Mitchell A. "Mitch" View/Sign Guest Book SIMS, MITCHELL A. "MITCH," 75, of Louisville, passed away Monday, September 15, 2008 at his home. He was a retired fireman for the Shively Fire Department; a member of Shively Baptist Church and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Pauline Sims; and his son, Todd Sims. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha Sims; daughters, Teresa Moad (Dennis), of Austin, TX and Tracie Nations (Brad); seven grandchildren; two stepgranddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Lougene Ward. His service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Shively Baptist Church, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-9 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
