PARKER, MORRIS "MARTY" JR., 51, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at his home.
He had been a painter for Paul Payne and Whitehouse Painting Contractors. He loved to hunt and fish and work with his hands.
He was preceded in death by his son, Darin Jordan Parker and his father, Morris E. Parker, Sr.
Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Linda Standifer Parker; stepdaughter, Jennifer Bowman; mother, Lynda Y. Parker; sister, Cindy Parker; brother, Dion Parker (Laura); grandchildren, Cheyenne and Sierra Standifer, and Tyler Jordan Parker; his nieces, Kaitlin and Savanna; and great-niece, Adalin.
Memorial visitation: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons, 2114 W. Market St., followed by funeral service at 2 p.m. Cremation was chosen. Ashes will be placed at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
