Myrtle Gambrel

Gambrel, Myrtle Ellen View/Sign Guest Book GAMBREL, MYRTLE ELLEN, 84, of Okolona, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008 in Franklin, TN. She was the former Myrtle Ellen Fields, a native of Laurel County, KY and a member of Jackson Hills General Baptist Church in Shepherdsville, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Gambrel; daughter, Rachel L. Gambrel; brothers, Windell, John, Walter and Russell Fields; and sister, Goldie Mathus. She is survived by her sisters, Lucy Tate, Geraldine Gentry and Ada Desurne; brothers, Park and Monroe Fields; and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be noon Wednesday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona, with private entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Mausoleum. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Alzheimers Association.
