SUMNER, NANCY LOU PAYTON, 76, of Louisville, passed away October 1, 2012 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
She was the business operator for Biff's Gun World. Nancy was the Valley High School Class of 55 event coordinator, a life member of the NRA, and the former show manager for the K.A.C.A. gun shows.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Walalee Payton, and a sister Beverly Tatum.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Biff "Jr." Sumner; sons, Steven (Terri) and Kenny (Tracy) Sumner; daughter, Tracy Lynn Sumner; grandchildren, Chad (Erin), Keri, Stephanie, Payton, Lucas and Lauren Sumner and Olivia Davis, and great-grandchildren, Navi, Caden and Lily.
Her funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. Interment will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to her favorite charity, Kosair Charities.
