Nancy Tarter

TARTER, ROSALEEN "ROSIE" (BASHAM), 76, formerly of High Plains, KY, passed away on August 12, 2013. Those who knew her, knew true friendship; those who loved her, knew true love. Rosie is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Walter "Bud" Tarter; daughters, Deb Shipman (Oscar), Jeanene Whittaker (Tom); son, Scott Tarter; granddaughters, Amy Minton (Jason), Mary Beth Bramer and Leah Tarter; and great-grandchildren Jocelyn and Mason Minton. Also left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces and nephews including Patricia Belcher (Ricky) and Sarah Stallings (Anthony). Visitation noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Funeral service will be Thursday at 1p.m. at the funeral home with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
