Naomi Gertrude "Gertie" Anderson

ANDERSON, NAOMI GERTRUDE "GERTIE," 88, a native of Edmonson, County, passed away May 26, 2012 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.

She was a member of Graceland Baptist Church and retired from the U.S. Post Office.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Berlin Paul Anderson; son, Paul Van Anderson; and granddaughter, Carri Cutsinger.

Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Kayrouz (Michael); grandchildren, Alisa Geary (Charles P.), Michael Scott Kayrouz (Jennifer) and Tambra Shepherd; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brothers, Norman Simon; a very dear and close friend, Mary Alice Pennington; and Mark Cutsinger.

Funeral service will be 11a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
