Nelson Hamilton Jr

Nelson Hamilton, Jr. 90, beloved husband to Madeline Phillips Hamilton, passed away Tuesday December 3, 2013 at home. He was born on April 30, 1923 to the late Nelson, Sr. and Dovie Farley Hamilton in Feds Creek, Kentucky.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers; Lawrence, Clarence, and Patrick Hamilton and sister, Violet Stump.
Mr. Hamilton was a retired teacher for Jefferson County Public Schools and also taught and was a principal in the Pike County Public Schools. He was a member of Valley View Baptist Church.
Besides his wife of 63 years he is survived by his children Gloria Davis (Randy) and Dale Hamilton (Ellen): along with grandchildren: Joshua Davis (Cathy), Elizabeth Duncan (Lee), Robert Hamilton (Allison), Sarah Davis (Bobby Barbour), and Jennifer Hamilton. He will also be missed by great-grand children: TaeSeong and Joey Duncan, and Rylie Davis.
