YATES, NOLA, 80, of Louisville, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at her home.
She was retired from Old Fitzgerald Distillery and was a member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years, Weeden Yates; and three brothers, Walter Carrier Jr, Leon Carrier and Earl Carrier.
She is survived by daughters, Connie Hash (Dennis) and Rhonda Craven (Andy); sons, Michael Sowders (Bev) and David Yates (Ronda); brothers, William Carrier and Charles Carrier (Loretta); her faithful grandson who cared for her, Ryan Sowders; her longtime companion, Kelley Madison; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday.
