Norma L. (Runkel) Bartsch BARTSCH, NORMA L. (RUNKEL), 82, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Baptist East Hospital.
She was a homemaker; a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #5636, F.O.E. 2173 Auxiliary; and an avid Louisville Bats fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leonard W. Bartsch.
She is survived by her sons, Paul (Glenda), Robert (Bonnie Bassett) and Larry Bartsch; daughters, Denise Decker (Joe), Karen Preston (Kenny), Laura Garvin (Ernie) and Carla Ramsier (Jack); 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mary Queen of Peace (St. Helen campus), 4005 Dixie Hwy., with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-Southwest, 4832 Cane Run Road.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Crusade for Children.
