Norman L. Geary Share E-mail Visit Guest Book GEARY, NORMAN L., 68, of Louisville, passed on Sunday, January 10, 2010 in Florida, where he was a winter resident at his beloved Riverbend Motor Coach Resort.
He was a member of Mosaic United Methodist Church, Family Motor Coach, Revconeers, where he was a past president, Foresters Court Bluegrass #1275, where he had held many offices, Teamsters Local 89, where he retired from, ARA Smith Transfer, Pumb Lodge #862, Scottish Rite, and the Kosair Shriners.
Norman is survived by his wife of 37 years, Nancy Shaw Geary; four daughters, Deborah Billharz of Jeffersonville, IN, Shelley Redmon (Russell), Stephanie Yeager both of Louisville, and Lori Metcalf (John) of Cape Coral, FL.; three sons, Norman Geary, Jr. of Louisville, Kenneth Yeager (Christine) of New Washington, IN, and Gregory Yeager (Michelle) of Charlestown, IN; eleven grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; five sisters, Joan Pigg (Leonard) of Glendale, AZ, Mary Fryrear (Paul), Linda Geary, Florence Barnes (Randall) and Carol Hemp (Mike) all of Louisville; two brothers, Ronald Geary of Louisville and John Geary (Joanne) of Taylorsville, KY.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Saturday at Mosaic United Methodist Church, 8008 St. Andrews Church Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. on Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, and from 11 a.m. - 1p.m. on Saturday at the church. There will be a Masonic service held 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
