Norman Hardin

HARDIN, NORMAN DOW, 84, of Smithfield, KY, died Friday, April 29, 2011 at Baptist Hospital Northeast.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Zachary Taylor Post and a maintenance foreman at Kentucky Country Day School.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; son, William; daughters, Mary Walker (James) and Norma Jean Bell (Mike); four grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3-8 p.m. or Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood. Funeral service will be Monday from 11:30 a.m., with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
