He was a systems engineering manager for the former Naval Ordnance and a member of Beechland Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Sharon Kessinger; daughter, Terri L. Wood; mother, Guy Nell Wood; and aunts, Nadine Keown and Marciel Wood. Funeral service: 1 p.m. Monday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
