Oletha Foley

FOLEY, Mary, OLETA CLARK, 84, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008. Oleta was originally from Central City, KY, and was raised at the Masonic Home in Louisville. She was a Christian, chef, seamstress, artist, furniture restorer, avid reader, teacher, chauffeur, and above all else, a wonderful wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Foley; her brother, Benjamin Clark; and her grandson, Jeffrey Foley. Her survivors include her sister, Francis White (Carl); her children, Susan Monks (Elbert), Joy Lee Foley, Linda Goranflo (Robert), Jeff (Mary), Will (Linda); her grandchildren, Robert Monks, Alison Lawton (Eric), Andrew Holt, Rebecca Foley; and her great-grandchildren, Mason Holt and Layni Lawton. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 7410 Westport Road. Visitation will be 1-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Hosparus-Hospice of Louisville, 3523 Ephraim McDowell Dr., Louisville, KY.
