Opal Callaway

CALLAWAY, OPAL JEWELL (DULWORTH), 78, passed away Wednesday March 19, 2014 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. She was born in Celina, TN to Bethel L. and Anna Belle (McClain) Dulworth. Opal retired from Ford Motor Company and was a Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Steve Mitchell Callaway. Survivors include include her loving husband of 60 years, Elbert Callaway; her son, David A. Callaway (Beth); a stepdaughter, Jackie Callaway; daughter-in-law, Ingrid Callaway; several grandchildren and great Grandchildren; four brothers, Roy, Elmo (Imogene), James (Louvie) and John Dulworth; and four sisters, Donna Burris, Mae Liebert, Daisy Thornberry (Pat) and Joyce Anderson (Rossi). Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow Louisville Memorial Gardens.
