Oscar Haven

Oscar C. Haven Share E-mail Visit Guest Book HAVEN, OSCAR C., 89, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a 30 year employee of International Harvester, an Army World War II veteran, a member of Victory Memorial Baptist and a very popular basketball player from 1933-1937 at Beaver Dam High School.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Geneva Haven.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Frances Haven; daughters, Linda Spoo and Joan Nicely (Dan); brother, Reverend Reathel Haven; grandchildren, Laura Keeling, Billy Keeling (Amy) and Rebecca Spoo; special great-granddaughter, Abigail Keeling; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for Mr. Haven will be 10 a.m. Monday at O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2727 So. 3rd Street, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from noon-8 p.m. Sunday.
Memorial contributions to be made to his church or Veterans Hospital.
