Burden, Ossie M. (Decker) View/Sign Guest Book BURDEN, OSSIE M. (DECKER), 85, a native of Butler County, KY, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Clark Memorial Hospital. She was a waitress at the Kunz's Restaurant, a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church, the Golden Notes, a wonderful caregiver and a foster grandparent at Hazelwood Center. She was devoted to her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Burden was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Burden; son, Bobby Benson; and sister, Hally Myrl Hardin. She is survived by a brother, Alfred Decker; nephew, Ed Dickerson (Linda); and nieces, Virginia Nance and Mary Hancock. A celebration of Mrs. Burden's life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with a private burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday. Expression of sympathy may be made to her church.
