COFFMAN, OTERA VEACHEL "O.V.," passed away Monday, May 27, 2013 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
O.V. was a retired self-employed mechanical contractor and a former employee of Louisville Insulating. A member of Suburban Masonic Lodge # 740. He was also an Army veteran of World War II where he served with the 736th Tank Battalion.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Winifred Coffman.
He is survived by his sons, Dennis W. (Deborah) and Stephen C. (LaNetta) Coffman; daughters, Sharon E. Joyce (Harold) and Patricia C. Quarles (Randy); four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. .
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday.
