JANES, PARVIN H., 90, of Louisville, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at Rockford Health & Rehab.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and received the Purple Heart.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois Janes; sons, Parvin D "Joe" and Gerald P. "Jerry" Janes; grandson, Timmy Janes; son-in-law, Larry Rigdon; three sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his daughters, Dora Hawkins (Billy) and Sue Rigdon; grandchildren, Paula Burton (Eric), and William Henry Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Emily Hawkins, Noah Hawkins, Bethany Burton and Jacob Burton.
His funeral service will be noon Tuesday at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 4-8p.m. Monday.
