DENKHOFF, PATRICIA ANN, 68, joined her loved ones in Heaven after a long battle with cancer on January 7, 2013.
Passing on her 52nd wedding anniversary, she was known as a loving and motherly individual but strong willed also. Nothing gave her more pride than attending the games and events of her children and then grandchildren. She loved to be entertained by going to bingo and "the boat." She was preceded in death by a beloved daughter, Roxie A. Maraschiello; her mother, Mary Witt, and her father, Charles Corley.
Pat is survived by her ever loving, attentive and doting husband of 52 years, Dallas; son, Richard (Michelle); granddaughters Tara, April and Stephanie (Phil); grandsons, Chad and Kyle; great-grandsons, Corey, Landon, Evan and Carson; great-granddaughters, Taylor and Jenna; stepfather, George Witt; sisters and brothers, Charlesetta Sneed (Andy), Gail Pierce (Marty), Rose Burr, Mary Lou Patton, Debbie Witt, Louis Witt (Wilma) and William Corley. She helped raise many children, including grandchildren and those of friends and was known as "Granny Pat" to many.
A special heartfelt thanks to Hosparus for all the support provided to Pat and the family. Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy., followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Wednesday, noon -8 p.m.
