Patricia Scott

Patricia “Patty” Ann Scott, 73, passed away on June 29, 2022. She was born on August 2, 1948, in Louisville, KY, to the late James and Laura Butler Dever.  She attended St. Matthias School and graduated from Angela Merici High School.  Patty spent most of her adult life in Nashville, TN, where she worked financial services for many years.  After leaving financial services, she worked for several non-profits.

Patty was a devoted Catholic and her faith gave her strength though out her life.  She was an avid reader, loved to garden and had a wonderful sense of humor.  Patty loved all animals, but especially her dogs.  Her greatest joy was being a mom and “Mimi” to her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, James Dever and Betty Dever.

Patty will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kelly Scott, Todd Scott (Beth), Charlie Scott and five grandchildren:  Sam, George, Owen, Rose and Scarlett, as well as her nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Funeral services will be on July 2, 2022, at 11:00 am at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society or Boys and Girls Club.
