Paul S. Aulbach Share E-mail Visit Guest Book AULBACH, PAUL S., 84, passed to be with his Lord and Savior on January 8, 2010.
Paul was born on May 24, 1925 in Louisville, KY. Being a United States Marine was one of his passions. He fought in World War II and the Korean War and later retired after 20+ years in the Marine Corps Reserves as a staff sergeant.
As a lifelong citizen to Jefferson County, he was a devoted Cardinals fan and involved himself in Toys for Tots, Crusade for Children and Marine Corps League. He retired from General Electric, Building 6 after 32 years of service and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Delma Aulbach.
He is survived by his sons, Robert L. Aulbach (Lea Higginbotham) and Dennis Dauphinais (Leigh Ann Stewart); grandchildren, Joshua and Erin Dauphinais, Heather Ridley (Drew) and Robbie Aulbach; and great-grandchildren, Dakota and Hannah Dauphinais.
Funeral: 11a.m. Thursday, at A. D. Porter & Sons-Southeast, 4501 Bardstown Road, with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 3-8p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
