He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jodi Coan; and mother, Ruth Coan. He is survived by his father, Richard Cohn; brothers, Rick (Norma), Robert, and Michael Coan (April); and sister, Lisa Smothers (Doyle). His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
