COLLINS, PAUL E., 88, of South Louisville, passed away Thursday March 17, 2011 at Norton Pavilion Hospital.
He was a retired employee of the old American Standard where he worked for 42 years, a former employee of the old Parkway Florist, and an Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Collins; a son Gary G. Collins; and grandchildren, Tonya Armstrong and William F. Hardesty, Jr.
He is survived by his sons, Michael and Terry Collins; a daughter, Donna Forester; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
