Paul Kirchner

KIRCHNER, PAUL JOHN, 87, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2008 at the Masonic Home with family at his side. He was a metal finisher for Ford Motor Company, Kentucky Truck Plant for over 15 years, and a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and UAW Local #862. He is preceded in death by his two sons, Thomas J. and Mark A. Kirchner; and a granddaughter, Dana Raque. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ella Freeman Kirchner; son, James A. Kirchner (Kim); two daughters, Gloria Wetzel, of Springfield, KY and Gail Raque of Bardstown, KY; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rita Michels, Virginia Price and Rosemary Willett; and a brother, Ralph Kirchner. His funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road. Memorial gifts may be made to Easter Seals or Kosair Charities
