WATSON, PAULINE A., 89, of south Louisville, entered into rest with her heavenly Father on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the Hosparus Unit of the Norton Downtown Healthcare Pavilion.
She was the former Pauline Barker, a retired assembly line worker for American Air Filter, a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and a volunteer for over 20 years for Sts. Mary & Elizabeth gift shop and the Saintly Treasures Shop.
She cherished each and every friend she encountered while volunteering. Mrs. Watson enjoyed camping in her earlier years and was a member of the Good Sam Trailer Club. Bingo, quilting and crafts were among her favorite past times.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill and a daughter, Betty Parkerson.
Survivors include one daughter, Jackie Nelson (Harry); sisters Dorothy Caster and Charlotte Gilpin; son-in-law, Ron Parkerson; four grandchildren, Michelle Humpich (Scott), Mark Nelson (Lee), Jim Parkerson (Annette) and John Parkerson; and six great-grandchildren.
Her family will always remember and be thankful for the care and love she received from her Hosparus team.
Celebration of Mass: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 7335 Southside Dr. with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd.
