WIEDMAR, PAULINE C., 92, of Shively, returned to her heavenly Father on March 17, 2011 with her family by her bedside.
She devoted her life to serving others, through PTA work, chairing Heart Fund drives, delivering mobile meals, taking care of her family and always having a helping hand or listening ear for anyone in need. She was a member of Chapel Hill UCC.
She was preceded in this life by her husband of 62 years, Walter R. Wiedmar and her great-grandson, Justin Pepper.
She is survived by her sister, Koty Cooper; brothers, Rudolph Roggenkamp (Betty) and Herman Roggenkamp, Jr. (Jackie); daughters, Caroline Owens (Marcus), Waltha Witham (Edward) and Bonnie Waterfill (David); son, Herman Wiedmar (Cathy); nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Celebration of her life will be at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy. (at Rockford Lane) Monday, March 21, 2011 at noon, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be at Keenan's 2 -8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. on Monday .
Although she loved flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Shively Area Ministries, the American Heart Association , or a charity of choice.
