Peggy Eversole

ELIZABETHTOWN - Eversole, Peggy Drury, 82, born in North Carolina died peacefully, Friday, February 21, 2014 at her home in Elizabethtown. She was a member of Valley Creek Baptist Church and a long time Louisville resident. She was preceded by her first husband of 38 years, Coleman F. Drury, Jr. She is survived by her second husband of 18 years, Dean Eversole, who loved her very much and cared for her until the end, a sister-in-law, Bernice Tompkins, a daughter, Pamela A. Drury; two sons, John K. Drury and his wife, Karen and Coleman F. Drury, III; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews encompassing the Tompkins, Fouts, Harris and Word families. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Bro. Scott Kerr officiating. Burial will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West off Dixie Highway. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
