FISHER, PETER JOSEPH SR., 69 of Portland, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Clark Memorial Hospital. He was a retired truck driver for Kentuckiana Trucking and Hartlage Trucking. He was also a proud member of the Highview Volunteer Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Ann Fisher, and granddaughter, Samantha Clark.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Peter J. Jr. and Steven Michael Fisher; two daughters, Mary Amanda Fisher Clark and Jessica Fisher; his second wife of 20 years, Peggy Fisher Jamison; two sisters, Elizabeth Fultineer and Marie Ruble; and six grandchildren.
His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons Portland, 2114 West Market Street, followed by burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 18 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
