PALMER, PHILIP J. SR., 76, of Louisville, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away December 23, 2011.
Phil was a graduate of LaSalle University and an employee of General Electric for 35 years. He was a long-time member and chapter president of the Elfan Society of Palstic Engineers, a member of River Road Country Club and The Bonnycastle Club.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Marie Maguire; his children, Philip Palmer Jr. (Tammy), Diane Underwood (Donny), Carol Smith (Randy), Michael Palmer (Jane) and Christine Palmer; his brothers, Walter (Gerri) and Richard (Gloria); and nine grandchildren.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Albert The Great, 1395 Garard Dive, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive.
