Phyllis Ann Hartlage

Phyllis Ann Hartlage, 78, of Prospect, entered into eternal life on Sunday, January 7, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She loved the Lord with all her heart, and we know she is at peace with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was a Mary Kay Sales Director for over 50 years, and a member of Southeast Christian Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and friend. She waited many years for grandchildren, so they held a very special place in her heart. She never met a stranger, because she dearly loved people and always made time to talk, listen and pray for anyone in need.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, James I. and Martha E. (Bowling) French, her nephew, Jamie French and her grandchild.

She will be truly missed by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles D. “Doug” Hartlage; daughter, Kelly A. Huncilman(Jeffery); son, Todd D. Hartlage(Angela Nicole); sister, Brenda Gentry(Dale); brother, James D. “Doug” French; and grandchildren, Alex Crabtree(Rachel), Emma Hartlage and Ella Hartlage along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her funeral service will be Friday, January 12, 2024 at noon. Graveside burial immediately following weather permitting. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Friday at 10:00am before the service. All will be held at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Highway.
