Phyllis Kay Webb, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on June 13, 2022. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on February 10, 1945, to the late Barney John and Cora Pearl (Meredith) Stratton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kenneth Webb.
Left to cherish the memory of Phyllis’ life is her daughter that was also her best friend, Melaney Stinson and her husband Willie; her precious grandsons that she adored, Caleb and Noah Stinson; her sister, Barbara Phipps; her friend from high school that is also Barbara’s caregiver, Peggy Hollis; and her entire church family.
Phyllis drove a school bus for JCPS for 38 years and loved getting to know the children on her bus, she loved socializing and never met a stranger. She loved attending and working at the Kentucky State Fair each year, mostly to people watch. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. Phyllis had a deep love for the family she built and enjoyed spending time with them, especially the lights of her life, her grandsons, that she affectionately referred to as Granny’s Babies.
A funeral to celebrate Phyllis’ life will be held on Friday, June 16, 2022, at 6PM at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Friends may call on the family the same day from 2PM until service time. Interment will be private.
