Blanton Jr., Ralph E. "Geno" View/Sign Guest Book BLANTON, RALPH E. "GENO" JR., 47, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Rough River. He was a former lineman for LG & E where he worked for 18 years, a 1979 graduate of Bullitt Central High School, and a member of Lone Hill United Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Yvonne Coffman Nalley; grandparents, Henry C. Farmer, Bill and Mona Blanton; stepfather, Joseph L. Nalley; and his aunt, Dolly Joan Collins. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Ralph E. Sr. and Dean Blanton; grandmother, Laura E. Farmer; sisters, Yvonda J. Rash, Sonya Kay Blanton and Debbie Meredith; three nieces, Tashia, Tiffany, and Tabitha Rash; aunt, Shirl Norris; great-uncle, Robert Brooks; and several cousins, including Steve Brooks (June) and Ruth Woodcock. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be noon-9 p.m. Sunday.
