Suratt, Ralph E. View/Sign Guest Book SURATT, RALPH E., 54, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday May 21, 2008 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was a substitute teacher for the Jefferson County Board of Education, a graduate of Bellarmine University and a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father James L. Suratt. He is survived by his daughters, Reagan and Rebecca Suratt; his mother, Orena Suratt; a sister, Thelma Hughes; a brother, James T. Suratt; and his first grandchild is due in December. A celebration of Ralph's life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Friday. Memorial gifts may be made to the Lupus Foundation.
