SHIRCLIFF, RAYMOND A., 79, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
He was a retired dispatcher for Commercial Motor Freight Co., a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, St. X Alumni Association, Disabled American Veterans, and a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by a son, David Shircliff; daughters, Laura Shircliff, and Susan Ledford (Chris); sister, Rita Dowell; and five grandchildren, Casey, Andrew, Mandie, Meagan, and Brady.
A mass of celebration for Mr. Shircliff will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Most Blessed Sacrament, 3509 Taylor Blvd., with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Online condolences at www.archlheadysouthernfh.com.
