104, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2014, surrounded by the love of her family.
Aunt Revel was born in Ohio County, KY. She had been a faithful member of Kenwood Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years James M. Taylor, her parents Samuel and Stella Hedger; her sisters Agnes Dalton, Euna Russell and Elsie Shull and her brothers; Jessie and Henry Hedger. Survivors include : Pearl Tartar, a cherished friend and caregiver; Mark and Susan Jamison, who cared for her, and Bobby and Connie Adams. Also left to cherish her memory are five generations of nieces and nephews. A service to honor the life of Aunt Revel will be held Wednesday at 12pm in the southern chapel of Arch L. Heady and Sons, 3601 Taylor Blvd with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
