86, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014.
He was a graduate of St. Xavier High School, a Navy WWII Veteran, retired truck driver for Teamsters Local 89 and an avid Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Reds fan.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Helen Jones.
Survivors include seven children, Richard Charles Jones, Janet Jones, Peggy Portman, Sharon Glass, Judy Harris (Tasso), Debbie Embry and Ernie Jones (Pixy); 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Anna Mae Griffin for her loving companionship for the past 18 years.
Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd. with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
