Richard Smith

Smith, Richard Earl,88, entered eternal life on February 18, 2015.He was a retired electrician with the IBEW Local Electrical Workers Union # 369 where he worked for 67 years, a member of Parkwood Baptist Church, a Boy Scout leader of Troop 91, a guard at Fountain Ferry Skating Rink and an Army veteran of World War II.He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Chasity Woolen.Survivors include his beloved wife of 67 years, Patricia (Pratt) Smith; his children, Craig Smith ( Dianna), Glenn Kirk Smith (Cindy) and Sandra Kay Woolen; 10 grandchildren; and his brother, Harley Smith.His life celebration will be 12 noon Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 12-8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. on Monday.
