Robert Craman

Carman, Robert A.,86, went home to be with Jesus June 14, 2015, ten days after his 61st wedding anniversary.He was born November 21, 1928 in Custer, KY. Preceeded in death by his parents, Virgil and Verna Carman; sisters, Pauline, Jenny and Arkell; and a brother, Edsel Carman.He served his country with honors during the Korean War. He was a local homebuilder for over 45 years. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He unselfishly touched the lives of many and will be forever loved and greatly missed.He leaves behind his wife, Dale Carman; children. Jeanne Carman-Jones and Jody Carman (Nelda); one grandchild, Joseph , who was his pride and joy. Also survived by a brother, Donald Carman; and several nieces and nephews.A celebration of life will be Friday 10 a.m. June 19, 2015 at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Rd., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
